The CMU baseball team traveled to Kansas and went to battle coming up short. The student athletes Representing California Miramar University definitely put the school on the map in college baseball.
Competing against Air-Force the #1 ranked team in the nation coming up short 4-2 losing a heart-breaker in the last inning giving up 3 unearned runs. CMU jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first inning and then air force tied it in the 4th inning, CMU answered with 1 run the next inning , 2-1 game till last inning when Air Force scored 3 runs winning the game. Saturday CMU Next match up is against the #7 team in the nation West Virginia, this game being a nail bitter also, a 1-1 game until the last inning with West Virginia scoring 2 unearned runs in the last inning with CMU falling 3-1 final score.
California Miramar‘s baseball team played hard and never gave up, battling until the last out. Great year to Coach Jessie Quintero his staff and of course the California Miramar University baseball team.
