Montebello, California – January 7, 2017– The California Miramar University Falcons came to play tonight and it paid off with a victory against the West Coast Baptist Eagles 85-74.
The Falcons (1-15) were led by AJ Mathis with 32 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assist. Derrick Davis also had an awesome night with 9 points and 10 rebounds.
Coach Chris Shade was excited about the victory. He says, “We took everything we learned from losing and we put it in our game tonight. We controlled our turnovers and we took advantage of missed shots.”
The Falcons will attempt to continue their winning streak when they play New Hope Christian College on January 12th.
